Accessing Settings You can access all your account and billing controls from the Profile Icon in the top-right corner of your dashboard. To open Settings:
  1. Click your profile photo at the top-right.
  2. Select Settings from the dropdown.
This will take you to the Settings dashboard with three sections:
  • Account
  • Integrations
  • Invoices

1. Account Settings

Overview

The Account section allows you to manage your login credentials, update personal details, link social accounts, and delete your Record account. These settings help keep your profile secure and up to date.

Change Email Address

If you want to update your primary login email:
  1. Click Edit next to your existing email.
  2. Enter your new email address.
  3. Save changes.
  4. Verify your new email if prompted.
This ensures your account stays secure and recoverable.

Change Password

Update and strengthen your password to protect your account. Password rules:
  • Minimum 8 characters
  • At least 1 uppercase letter
  • At least 1 number
  • At least 1 special character
How to change:
  1. Enter your current password.
  2. Create a new password that meets all requirements.
  3. Confirm your new password.
  4. Click Save.

Connect with Social Accounts

Record supports login through integrated platforms such as Google. Benefits: Faster login, Semless syncing, Added secruity. Click Connect to link your Google account if not already connected.

Delete Account

If you choose to leave Record, you may permanently delete your account. ⚠️ Important Reminder: Once deleted, your account cannot be restored. All your:
  • Skill badges
  • Profile data
  • Experience history
  • Certifications
  • AI interview videos
  • Playlists and coursework
…will be permanently removed. How to delete your account:
  1. Scroll to Delete Account section.
  2. Click Delete Account.
  3. Confirm your action.

2. Integrations

Integrations allow you to connect third-party platforms to your Record account for a better learning and skill-building experience. How to manage integration:
  • Toggle the switch ON/OFF to enable or disable
  • Click Settings to view connected playlists or update permissions
  • You cannot turn off default integrations like YouTube as it has native feature in the product.

3. Invoices & Billing

Overview

View your subscription plan, renewal dates, and all your billing history.

Plan Summary

This section displays:
  • Your current plan name
  • Days remaining
  • Renewal date
  • Subscription price
If no subscription is active, it will show No Plan.

Invoices

Manage all your billing and payment records. You can:
  • See each Invoice ID
  • Check payment status
  • View billing date
  • Download invoices
  • Search invoices using the search bar
If you haven’t made any payments yet, this section will show No invoices found.
