Adding an Education Entry

To add your education details:

1. Go to Profile → Career → Add Education
2. Fill in the required fields
3. Save your entry
4. Request verification

School / College Name

Enter the full official name of your institution. Examples: Anna University, PSG College of Technology, SRM University

Degree Type

Choose your degree from the dropdown. Examples: B.E, B.Tech, B.Sc, M.Tech, MBA, Diploma

Major / Field of Study

Add what you studied. Examples: Computer Science, Electronics, Business Administration, Fashion Design

​

Grade

You can add your overall score in CGPA or Percentage. Choose the format from the dropdown. Examples:

• 8.2 (CGPA)
• 75 %

Location

Enter the city/state of your college. Example: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu

Start Date & End Date

Select your joining and completion dates. If you’re still studying, enable “I’m currently studying here.”

Description

Write a short summary of your educations and can rephrase with Record AI - Max of 500 letters and you can use max of 5 rephrases for free. Examples:

• Completed core coursework in Computer Science Engineering, covering Data Structures, Cloud Computing, DBMS, and Software Engineering. Gained hands-on experience through labs and mini projects that strengthened technical fundamentals. This adds great value to your profile.

You can verify your education to build trust and increase profile credibility.

How verification works

1. Click Get verified
2. Enter the official academic email of your:
   • Professor
   • HOD
   • Department coordinator
   • Training & Placement officer etc..
3. They receive a verification link
4. Once approved, your education becomes Verified

Important guidelines

• Use only professional/institutional email IDs (name@college.ac.in_ / edu_)
• Avoid personal Gmail/Yahoo addresses
• Ask the verifier to check Spam/Promotions if the mail isn’t visible
• Verification time depends on the verifier’s response
